KANZA Client RFP Response Project
A client-focused instructional design project that matched different organizational needs with the right design model and practical solution.
Project Overview
This project challenged me to respond to three different client situations as an instructional design consultant. I created proposals for a healthcare organization, a university, and a nonprofit, choosing a different instructional design model for each one based on the organization’s needs, goals, stakeholders, and constraints.

Challenge
The challenge was that each organization had a different performance problem, audience, and set of constraints. Instead of using the same design model for every situation, I had to look at the needs of each client and choose an approach that fit the problem.
Solution
I developed three client proposals and matched each organization with a design model that fit its needs. ADDIE provided structure for the healthcare project, the Kemp Model gave the university project more flexibility, and the Smith and Ragan Model supported a clear process for the nonprofit project.

The Approach
I approached each client situation by first looking at the organization, the learner, the performance problem, and the project constraints. I used the design models as guides rather than forcing every project into the same process. That helped me choose an approach that fit the actual need and made the proposal more practical for each client.
